Diese Woche dreht sich alles um die westafrikanische Goldküste: Ghana!
Während der Kolonialzeit betrieben hier die europäischen Herrscher drei Jahrhunderte lang den größten Sklavenhandel Afrikas, doch mittlerweile gilt das Land auf dem gesamten Kontinent als Vorbild in Sachen Demokratie und Stabilität. Neben den klassischen Kapiteln werfen wir diese Woche auch einen Blick auf die Fischereiverbrechen (das sogenannte Saiko-Business) vor der ghanaischen Küste.
Ab 29:39 gibt es zusätzlich noch ein ausführliches Expertengespräch. Zu Gast ist der ivorische Politik- und Wirtschaftswissenschaftler Ange Stephane Kouassi. Er berichtet ausführlich über den so wichtigen Kakaoanbau (Ghana und die Elfenbeinküste sind weltweit die Hauptproduzenten) und zeigt im weiteren Verlauf interessante Perspektiven auf die Deutsch-Afrikanische Entwicklungszusammenarbeit auf.
