Die Demokratische Republik Kongo ist das zweifellos reichste Land der Erde. Nicht gemessen an seiner Bevölkerung, sondern nach Diversität und Wert (~ 24 Bio. USD) seines Grund und Bodens. Dies ist für das Verständnis der Zusammenhänge seit 1885 von essentieller Bedeutung.
Aufgrund der Komplexität hat diese diese Folge des Afrika für Almans Podcast lediglich zum Ziel, einen groben Einblick in die Geschehnisse der DR Kongo zu geben, beginnend bei Leopold II. über Lumumba (links im Bild), Mobutu und die beiden Kabilas.
