Teil 1: Themen unter anderem: Die diversen Nils, das Königreich Kusch, Nubien sowie der Einfluss von Ägypten und Großbritannien.
Teil 2: Wir dröseln den Darfur Konflikt detailliert auf und betrachten, welche historischen und politischen Gegebenheiten zu den barbarischen Kriegshandlungen führten, die die große Region im Westen Sudans seit 2003 heimsuchen. Ebenfalls geben wir Antwort auf die Frage warum die internationale Staatengemeinschaft so lange zugesehen und erst nach fast fünf Jahren – mit dem bis dato größten UN-Blauhelm Kontingent – auf die anhaltenden Menschenrechtsverbrechen in Darfur reagierten.
Teil 3: Miriam is back und erzählt uns von ihrer Zeit in Sudan und dem Stadtleben von Khartum. Neben diversen Reisen (s. Episodenbild) schildert sie auch ihre Ereignisse der sudanesischen Revolution Ende 2018, welche sie hautnah miterlebte. Außerdem gibts noch ein Lifehack wie man trotz Schariarecht in Khartum an Alkohol kommt, stay tuned!
